You inspire us. We want to learn with you.

Off-Kilter is seeking creative problem solvers to join its team in Chicago. Students who are aspiring journalists, photographers, and digital storytellers are welcomed, as well as anyone who simply has a passion for truthful, inclusive media and an appreciation for contemporary art.

The term as a fellow or architect will be 6 months, which is negotiable depending on student’s school term or future life plans. If coordinated by the fellow/architect with their university, the term may qualify for credit.

Fellows and Architects will take away valuable exposure to the workings of a contemporary media company with multiple publication and outlets. Each of our fellows and architects will gain a toolbox of skills including writing professional emails, team communication, discipline in remote working, content curation , researching future article subjects, coordinating photoshoots, and project managing.

Fellows and Architects will be pitching their story ideas to Ok’s editorial board, who will then decide which platform(print or digital) to share the story under. This provides the opportunity for our team members to build a strong, diverse, and real world portfolio to take away by the end of their term with us.

Email hello@offkilter.co your resume + short description of yourself  + any relevant work examples. In the subject line, include the position that  you visualize yourself in.
